Job Description

Position Summary:
The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple chicken-based QSR outlets within a designated geographic area. This role requires a dynamic, hands-on leader who will drive the performance, profitability, and growth of the restaurants while maintaining high standards of customer service, operational excellence, and team development. The Area Manager will ensure that all restaurants in their region operate according to company standards and achieve key performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple restaurant locations to ensure the highest level of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
Implement and enforce company standards, policies, and procedures in all locations.
Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and food safety regulations.
Monitor restaurant performance metrics including sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity.

Team Development & Management:
Recruit, train, and develop restaurant managers and staff to ensure high levels of employee engagement and retention.
Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and feedback to managers and employees.
Foster a positive and inclusive work culture focused on teamwork, customer service, and high-performance standards.

Financial Management:
Analyze financial reports for each location, providing recommendations to drive profitability and cost efficiencies.
Manage budgets for each restaurant, ensuring that costs are controlled and financial targets are met or exceeded.
Develop and implement action plans to improve key financial metrics such as food costs, labor costs, and waste.

Customer Satisfaction & Brand Consistency:
Ensure that customer satisfaction is consistently high by implementing service standards and ensuring adherence.
Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure brand standards are maintained in terms of both food quality and service.

Growth and Expansion:
Assist in the identification of opportunities for growth within the assigned area, including potential new locations or market segments.
Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager to execute marketing and promotional strategies to drive customer traffic and sales.

Reporting and Communication:
Regularly report to senior management on restaurant performance, trends, and challenges within the area.
Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure alignment on company goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-unit restaurant management, preferably within a QSR or fast-food environment.
Proven success in leading and managing teams, driving sales, and improving operational performance.
International or regional management experience is highly desirable, with a focus on overseeing multiple locations.

Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.

Education:
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

Other:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management software.
Flexibility to travel between restaurant locations in the assigned region.
