Job Description

Position Summary:
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the operation run smoothly. This includes managing a team of staff, ensuring the highest level of customer service, maintaining food quality standards, managing inventory and budgets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining the brand’s high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service delivery and a high level of operational efficiency.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained restaurant, adhering to the brand’s hygiene and safety standards.
Ensure proper stock levels and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and reducing waste.

Customer Service Excellence:
Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers have a positive experience.
Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Implement and monitor customer feedback programs to continuously improve service quality.

Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, and develop restaurant staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent service.
Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback to team members.
Motivate and inspire the team to meet operational goals, enhance service levels, and foster a positive work environment.

Financial Management & Reporting:
Oversee the financial performance of the restaurant, including sales, cost control, and profitability.
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, and identify areas for cost savings.
Ensure accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting to senior management.

Compliance & Health & Safety:
Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and company policies, including food safety and sanitation standards.
Ensure that the restaurant adheres to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, cleanliness, and employee safety.
Maintain records and documentation required by health authorities.

Marketing & Promotion:
Support local marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to increase customer engagement and drive foot traffic to the restaurant.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns, special offers, and events that promote the brand in the local market.
Maintain brand standards in-store, ensuring consistency in menu presentation, store décor, and promotional materials.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction, sales performance, and operational efficiency.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance restaurant operations.
Regularly review customer feedback and employee performance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management role within the QSR, hospitality, or retail industry, preferably with a focus on foodservice operations.
Experience in managing a team of employees, with strong leadership and coaching skills.
Previous experience in managing financials, including budgets, sales tracking, and cost control.

Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management tools.

Education:
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

Other:
Fluency in [local language(s)] and English.
Knowledge of local labor laws and health & safety regulations in India.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Passion for food and customer service with a strong understanding of the QSR industry
